Thugs Find A New Innovative Way To Decorate Unmarked Police Squad Cars
A Chicago Police Officer, that's a friend of mine recently sent me this picture she took while on patrol. In my opinion this picture basically sums up the violence in my city as of lately. It looks as if this police squad car was shot with a fully automatic weapon, possibly an AK-47. AK-47s are quite popular on the south side of Chicago. Just 2 years ago there were several separate incidents where young kids were accidentally killed by shots from rival gangs using AK-47s. I always felt that AK-47s were a bit "overkill." I mean seriously, these are the same weapons used in Iraq. Why in the hell would you need an AK-47 ever, let along outside of a war scenario? Wow talk about amazing. It's getting so bad that Chicago's violent shootings have recently received national media coverage. Instead of the national media covering Chicago's 2016 Olympic bid, the media has to focus on the dozens and dozens of shootings this past weekend such as.....- About 7 p.m. Friday, Marcus Hendricks, 34, was fatally shot in the abdomen at 714 West 115th St. and pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn at 8 p.m.
- About 9:30 p.m. Friday, two 18-year-old men were fatally shot at 7555 South. Phillips Ave. Killed were Melvin Thomas and Rhonell Savala. One of the men suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and back and the other was shot in the neck.
- About 10:50 p.m. Friday, Ricardo Sanchez, 65, was found fatally shot outside his home after an attempted robbery. He was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center at 12:47 a.m. Saturday.
- About 5:50 a.m. Saturday, Michael Giles, 26, was fatally shot in his home. He was pronounced dead at 6:50 a.m. at Mount Sinai Hospital.
- About 11:20 a.m. Saturday, Raul Lemus, 28, was fatally shot in the abdomen in an apparent gang-related shooting at an auto body shop at 2520 West 59th St. He was pronounced dead at John Stroger Hospital of Cook County at 4:16 a.m. Sunday.
- Late Sunday, Angel Ramirez, 26, and four other people were shot in a gang-related drive-by shooting on the 2800 block of West 21st St. Ramirez was later pronounced dead at Mount Sinai Hospital.
- At about 12:30 a.m. Monday, Edward Black, 25, died after a gunman shot him in the chest as he stood with a friend in the 800 block of South Karlov.
...These were only several of the homicides this past weekend. How about the multiple homicide that took place last week that still leaves many questions to be answered? Like the mysterious case of.....
- Anthony Scales Jr. (whom I knew of personally), Donovan Richardson (whom I knew of personally), Whitney Flowers and Reginald Walker (whom I knew of personally) all 5 found shot and killed in a south side apartment. All victims were in their early 20s, not one exceeding 27. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize robbery was the motive. However police have no leads.
In my opinion if the city doesn't clean up it's act there's no way possible the Olympic Commission is going to put it's trust in bringing the 2016 Olympics to Chicago. I had a conversation with an elderly woman today from my neighborhood. She asked "why are people your age so unnecessarily violent?" I couldn't even respond, not because I didn't have an answer - I just felt like she was so out of touch with reality that it wasn't worth my effort. There's obviously a big generational gap between people 18-25, and people 35+. It seems that people in my generation simply don't have any value on life. Even a simple trip to the movie theaters in my environment isn't the same as it was 20-30 years ago. It seems everywhere you go, you are put at risk for potential violence. What's sad is in most cases it's completely random with no motive. My friends and I have seen many people get beaten, shot, or even worst. It's becoming so bad that we've naturally become immune to violence. Hearing gun shots is no longer a "panic mode", it's almost a natural reaction for cover. Now I'm no saint, I my self was a slight product of my environment. However unlike many of my peers I matured and realized the grass is greener on the other side. There's no better wake up call than studying a 30 year old thug with no sense of direction.
....Anyhow some people say I'm over reacting. After all, the violence here could get a lot worst.
Moving on to less serious topics. Late last month I reported a drug deal spotted on the south side of Chicago via Google's Street View Camera. In the pictures taken by Google it shows a major drug transaction with a lot of money on one end and some possible cocaine on the other end. 2 days after I posted the link Google decided to remove the pictures from their servers. Well, I've managed to dig up 2 of the pictures. It's not much but it's worth taking a look. If anybody knows this guy please tell him next time he might wanna check his surroundings before making his next drug deal. The big Google car with the camera probably isn't a good idea to sell drugs around. If you're an idiot and have no idea what Google Street View is then please click here and read the article entitled "Practice Safe Lunch, Use A Condiment."
Although I know a lot of females tend to get bored with their look and want a style change, trust me it's not always a good idea. Learn from this young lady's mistakes - sometimes being Plain Jane isn't a bad idea. Can we say "tragic?!"
There's nothing wrong with having weird sexual fantasies, all I ask is that you keep them to your self.
Lastly, I'd just like to give a shout out to my cousin in Africa who manages to keep up with the latest trends known to man.
Final Thought: Everyone knows this website features a lot of comedic satire. However at the same time I like to make people aware of how I feel on a more serious level. Just because I'm a cynical asshole at times doesn't mean I don't have a guilty conscience that reeks with politically correct ideas as well questionable solutions. If you were looking for a meaningless rant about why gas prices are soaring to unbelievable prices then you've come to the wrong place.
