The FDA Approves The Beating Of Meat
The Food & Drug Administration ruled that products from cloned animals are just as safe products from noncloned animals. Over the past several years stem cell research has grown tremendously. Scientists have taken mother nature into their own hands, which naturally creates a bit of skepticism amongst consumers everywhere. So how does this effect you? Well in the near future your dairy products such as cheese, or even a simple hamburger could be originally obtained from a cloned animal without you even knowing it. I'm sure in the future many meat & dairy companies will market themselves as "noncloning companies," but surprisingly no matter what they tell you there isn't a scientific procedure developed to differentiate clone products from noncloned products! What's even more disappointing is; if there's a major disease outbreak with cloned products the FDA can't recall the products, because of the lack of physical evidence to pinpoint which products are cloned and which products aren't. If something like this were to happen it be would be a case of playing Russian Roulette in it's purest form. Critics say that the FDA's decision was a bit premature because scientific animal cloning still lacks major research. Evidence to support this claim would be the fact that the FDA reportedly researched the safety of cloned products for only 4 years! In my opinion, 4 years isn't enough time. 20 years from now I wouldn't be surprised if the population of people diagnosed with cancer or other internal diseases double in numbers because of the FDA's lackluster attitude on our food supply. Currently in the United States about 600 cloned animals exist, of those 600 about 570 of those animals are cattle. The average cost to clone a single cattle is anywhere from $15,000 - $20,000. That's a ton of money spent to endanger our food supply. This is a great life we live; the government holds you accountable for taxes, manipulates your political knowledge, and now selfishly tampers with the food you consume. Welcome........welcome to America.
.....If you never worried about your food supply, then it's time to pay closer attention. These days you can find anything in your food, from hair, to a dead frog.....there are no limitations.
To give everyone a grasp as to what kinda questions I was asked during the Logical Reasoning portion I left an example from the study guide. This example comes from the more easier portion of the test, so don't be fooled by it's trickery. Without reading the answer, I want YOU to really try to understand the question - AND DONT CHEAT! For the actual test you are given no more than 2 minutes tops to answer each question. Good luck!
- Question: Some people regularly experience what psychiatrists call depersonalization disorder-that is, periods of detachment from one's self. The commission of crimes while in this state is rare. More often, people who claim to have had an episode of depersonalization while committing a crime are being deceitful. The sense of depersonalization is not considered a disorder if it occurs during a schizophrenic episode, during time of great stress, or if it is part of a meditative trance practice in the person's culture of religion.
From the information given above, it can be validly concluded that....
A) No crimes are committed by persons with depersonalization disorder.
B) Some religious trance states are instances of depersonalization disorder.
C) Some people with depersonalization disorder can commit crimes while in a depersonalized state.
D) Some instances of schizophrenia are also instances of depersonalization disorder.
E) All person with depersonalization disorder are deceitful.
Answer: I'm assuming you atleast attempted to answer the question, but then again 75% of the viewers of this website are idiots. If you read the question/answer and believe I made a number of grammatical errors, rest assure the material above is word for word from the study guide. Before learning the answer, remember the question only asks that you provide your answer with the INFORMATION GIVEN, DONT MAKE THE COMMON MISTAKE OF TRYING TO GUESS THE ANSWER ON YOUR OWN PERSONAL KNOWLEDGE...
The correct answer is C. The passage states that such crimes are rare, indicating that they can occur, supporting choice C and ruling out choice A. Choices B and D are refuted by the last sentence of the passage. Although the passage states that some people who say they were in a depersonalized state are being deceitful, it does not state that all people with depersonalization disorder are deceitful, ruling out choice E. If you're completely lost at this point, then it's perfectly fine. If you guessed the right answer then praise your self, not only are you somewhat of an intellect, but you mastered the art of trickery. OK maybe I'm overshooting it here, but seriously Logical Reasoning questions on the FEDs test is just one of several portions of the test. Thank you for participating, and experiencing what I had to do for 4 hours.
Terrorism is effecting our nation everyday. Terrorist have adapted with the time and become more cunning than ever. Who'd even think they'd get their animals involved with suicide bombs?
There was a recent study that revealed that clowns are more terrifying to kids than entertaining. However I beg to differ, it's the damn mascots that bothers me.
It's tax season! This time around last year I was focusing on buying 22 inch rims with my tax return, now I'm focusing on using this money to enhance my chances of living a suitable lifestyle and better my chances in relocating from Chicago. Wow the times are changing.
In other news, Chase Bank released a statement recently saying they will now charge $3 per ATM withdrawal from outside customers. What else is new? Fees for Chase customers simply checking their balance.......damn I forgot, that fee actually exists.
Happy Birthday MLK!
Lastly I just want to give a shout out to Gin aka GeeGee. Her website is pretty nice, it's a personal portfolio of her graphic designs, and I'm definitely a fan. I really admire her piece she created on Cassie, it's extraordinary. If you decide to buy some artwork from her let her know that Kells referred you, maybe she'll knock a little off the price, or maybe she'll laugh uncontrollably. It's a mere shot in the dark.
Final Thought: Sometimes arrogance can be overrated. While at my exam I noticed several applicants bragging about the simplicity of the test, and how it's no big deal. 4 hours later, and not one of the guys passed. That to me was a reality check. Sometimes it's better to just keep your mouth shut. Something I'm usually not good at.
