Black Bar-B-Que Blamed For California Wildlife Fire; Evidence of Hennessy Bottles, and Hot Sauce Packaging Left Behind

So I'm watching the news today, and I'm witnessing all these California Wildlife Fires. Over a million people have had to evacuate their homes, and there is about $1 Billion in damages. Home insurance companies have already admitted they won't be able to cover most of the damage done as a result to these fires. To say this event is devastating is an understatement. Imagine your home burned to the ground; all your memories, all your possessions, everything you've worked hard for - GONE! Not to mention, today the FBI has determined one (keyword: one) of the many Wildlife Fires in the San Diago County was actually the cause of arson. There has been a $50,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the person who started the fire. I say he should be shot on sight, but that's not the issue there's a bigger issue at hand....

Isn't it amazing the resources, and the response time the government had for all these "refugees" in California, while in contrast it took the government almost a week to respond to Hurricane Katrina. The victims of the Wildlife Fires were welcomed with open arms, food, and free hotel stay; while the victims of Hurricane Katrina were force to loot stores, children died from hunger, and innocent women were raped all because of the response time of the government. It's hard to overlook this as a race issue, especially when more than 3/4 of Orange County, and San Diago county is predominantly white. What's even more astonishing is President Bush is visiting California's Wildlife Fire sites tomorrow (Oct. 26th), just 3 days after this entire tragedy happen; while it took him several weeks before he visited New Orleans and the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Just more proof that Kanye West was right when he said, "Bush doesn't like black people."

Just when you thought you could trust your kids with Disney; the company proved to be racist by releasing "noose" like chains. For only $45 you can show your true passion for hanging slaves, talk about expensive trash. You would think in 2007 something such as a "noose" would be extinct, but that's proven to be false, just like in the case of the Jena 6....

....However here at Lost in Transition, we do not support the Jena 6. Recently Robert Bailey Jr. (one of the Jena 6) created a MySpace (which he has taken down since then, but here's video footage) page featuring pictures of him self with thousands of dollars of cash, which is supposedly money donated to his Legal Fund. Money that Rev Al Sharpton, and Jesse Jackson, and so many more supporters rallied for. Even worst Bailey's parents have reportedly bought a BMW, and Jaguar with the reported $400,000 donated money. It doesn't stop there, members of the Jena 6 were seen at the BET Hip-Hop Awards - posing for pictures as if they had a new album to be released. This is definitely a set back for African Americans. If you don't know who the Jena 6 are, you've obviously been living under a rock for the past several weeks - here's a recap of their story.

As far as T.I goes. I'm tired of all these rappers saying "Free T.I" as if he was wrongly accused, or won a Nobel Peace Prize. The guy attempted to purchase half a dozen machine guns, not to mention the guns that were found at his home. He's a convicted felon for Christ sakes.....he shouldn't have a Bebe gun let alone the arsenal he attempted to purchase. It's not like he bought guns for protection, you can't carry a Cabrine 15 in your back pocket, it's just not possible. Maybe jail time is what he needs, but honestly.....he needs no support; kids everywhere look up to this guy. What are they going to learn from this? It's just sickening. The only teeshirt I'll be wearing is one that says - "Free T.I...........from him self." Hell I might even throw in a little picture of a "noose" on the back. All pictures above including the AK47 Pistol, Cabrine 15, and Uzi Silencers are property of the Atlanta Georgia District Attorney's Office.

Obituaries: Rest in peace to 10 year old Arthur Jones, who was caught in gang cross fire recently on the south side of Chicago. Rest in peace to upcoming R&B star Yolonda "LaLa" Brown, who is featured in the Lyfe Jennings song "S.E.X" - she was recently shot to death along side with her boyfriend in a Milwaukee based recording studio.

One last thing, for the record, yes - I AM STILL IN LOVE WITH CASSIE. Not sure if shes' visited the website, but I've made numerous attempts to get her management team to recognize Lost in Transition. I heard shes headlining the Sean John Women's Clothing line campaign, sounds like a good look huh?

Well time to rap things up I just downloaded the American Gangster movie for free - so I'm going to watch it, and critique it before it even hits the theaters (November 2nd). Man I love technology. Eat cha hearts out America!

Final Thought: I got a friend that always ask me how certain people are doing, people of my past - people I disassociated with, or mutually parted ways with. I like to explain to him that I've always like the term "out of sight, out of mind." To be totally relevant one day, and to totally disappear the next is something I pride my self on. I've been told my "goodbyes" with people can sometimes be very "cowardly", and "disheartening." But I feel sometimes situations aren't worth confrontation, a better conclusion is one less theatrical. To simply treat someone, a group, or organization as if they never existed is typically a more common choice of mine. One thing I've learned through personal experience; people will ALWAYS speculate (mainly negative) about you regardless if you're around, at times it's flattering - but encouraging......encouraging enough to move on and never to look back. As far as me, if I don't see you - 9 times outta 10 I'm not thinking about you. It's not personal, it's just how I was brought up. "Don't waist your time stuck in the past, because there is so much more in the future." Let these words be motivation to all those people who are simply "moving on" from someone (same sex, opposite sex, family, etc.). This isn't directed to just any ONE person, but if you think this is directed towards you, then chances are.....it probably is.
