Irianian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (try pronouncing that three times fast), the same man who said the Holocaust never existed, the same man who believes it's okay to build nuclear warheads without the consent of the United Nations, the same man who claims there isn't ONE homosexual in his country visited Columbia College in New York Friday. The President of Columbia College invited the Iranian President for a debate at the school - and the Iranian President gladly excepted the invitation while visiting the country for the "General Assembly" (a meeting of the United Nations, composed of over 30 countries). The debate in my opinion was historical. The fact that the Iranian President, the guy who hates our president, hates our country, visited and had a debate at one of our premier colleges is astonishing to me. From the interview all speculation that this guy was an idiot was confirmed. Among a bunch of other stupid things the Iranian President mentioned, the one that stood out the most is the fact that he still admitted he doesn't believe the Holocaust ever took place. To conclude, although the debate was good for America's backbone - "freedom of speech", nothing exciting in my opinion took place. I watched the interview waiting on someone to burst in and kill the guy, but hey - it didn't happen. Mark my words in 5 + years we'll be in war with Iran, and the fact that this guy was here in our country drinking our kool aid and eating spaghetti just baffles me. When President Bush was asked how he felt about the debate he said "(this debate) speaks volumes of the greatness of America." Whatever that means. I still say we should of killed the guy while we had the chance. For more information on Ahmadinejad simply go to my archives and there is tons of general information on the Iranian President I mentioned over a year ago, educate your self now about this guy - he is to us what Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein was 20 years ago.
2009 will be the 200th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln Birthday and the 100th anniversary of the introduction of the 1st American Penny. Why do you care? You probably don't.....but Congress will release a totally new design of the American Penny in 2009 as well. Right now there are about 3 prototypes; one of the more popular prototypes features Lincoln as a little boy reading a book and taking notes with a pen. Regardless of choice Americans won't give a damn, it's simply a Penny.
I can't believe people are seriously wearing Croc Shoes aka Nursing Shoes. Those are some of the ugliest shoes I've ever seen my life. Ironically my mom has been wearing them ever since I can remember, but that's only because shes' a nurse. It's getting out of control - I was in the barber shop and grown ass men had them on.....I just looked on in disbelief. Seems like nobody has a sense of style these days. Hopefully this is simply just a "shock effect" - and just like Coogie Sweaters people will move on and never look back.
Is it me or is Jennifer Hudson one hamburger away from obesity? Com'on you know it's the truth.
It's official I recently received my letter of confirmation, and I've been added to the eligibility list for the South Holland Police Department. Now I have to pass physical, and psychological test in order to be considered complete. The easy part (passing the written examination and ranking high as well as oral interview) is now over in my opinion, the hard part is still to come. This process will probably take another couple of months and in the mean time I've applied for several other departments as well. Most recently Maywood Police Department.
I bought a computer a couple of days ago that's possibly one of the best computers I've ever had access to. The computer I purchased retailed around $1,300, just for the actual PC (no monitor included). Generally you can purchase a nice computer for about $500 - $600 (once again that's without the monitor). Well lucky for me I didn't spend $1,300 on this computer. I spent $599! Why you ask? Well because Best Buy didn't have anymore in stock and the only one they had to offer was the display version! This was the result in over a 50% discount! This computer puts my last PC to rest......it contains a duel Pentium processor, tv tuner/digital tv so you can record tv, over 400 gigs of memory, the new version of Windows entitled: Windows Vista, and a gang of other nice perks. The average person probably wouldn't use or even attempt to get the full experience of this PC but over the course of the next several months I will be doing everything from.....hooking this PC up to my digital cable, to designing movie trailers for this website. I've already hooked up a "LINKSYS Router" which allows anyone I wanna give permission to with a laptop (wireless Internet) to have FREE access to the Internet (via my Internet). For example my mom has a laptop, and instead of her paying for a wireless Internet service I simply enabled her to log into my router which gives her access to the Internet. If you live in my general area ( zipcode: 60617) and want more information about how you can benefit from my DSL/Cable "LINKSYS Router" just email me.
Big shout out to everybody that came to my Uncle's Birthday party co hosted by my self. If your in my cell phone and over the age of 21 chances were you were invited (if not dont get all moody on me). I bartended for the first half of the evening, so you can pretty much assume everyone was heavily intoxicated because not only were drinks free but Knowledge spent a little over a fortune on alcohol that day. Once I was done with bartending I got to mix it up with all my friends, family, and even coworkers. I had a great time, too bad there are no pictures available. If you were at the party leave a comment and explain your experience, good or bad.
Alicia Davis I know and pray you'll win this battle with cancer. Much love from everybody at the L.I.T family, as well as the O.E.M.C - we send our prayers and show extreme concern for your health and well being.
Final Thought: I have to come to terms with the truth actually does hurt. I've always been a "blow for blow" type of person. I can dish the truth as much as I can take it. Unfortunately that's not the case for everyone in my life. I'm often left with the decision to sugar coat facts when in reality it's eating me up inside. I now realise I have to put other peoples feelings, and emotions before the truth in terms of my personal growth. It's sad, but that's the type of world we live in - a world where truth is often overshadowed by perception.
